Irrational Stories

I'm unsure of where I should start. Perhaps the beginning or possibly the ending.. Maybe the parts that are burned the deepest in my mind; I know where to start, my beginning. Before my life was abruptly turned upside down and the weight of the world suddenly started to crush me. When I was once happy, when life wasn't so chaotic.. Avery, Avery Valiente. That's my beginning. The man I planned to spend the rest of my life with. I'd dedicated five and a half long years to this man, my man. We were in love, the way every woman has dreamed to be. Not only had I made sacrifices, he did as well. Without me having to ask, he was there. Then one day we woke up, it was as if our fairytale had ended. As if by magic the love was sucked out of our relationship. What was left seemed cold, distant and dead.. That is when the first sign showed; The beginning of hell.... ******* Asrael Romee. The girl who had a perfect life until it was suddenly stolen from her. Happiness has vanished and her mind has become fogged. Struggling to fix what has happened, head floating just above water. Everyone has a different perspective when they think about “love”. I found it to be very intriguing when I read a thread and people were asked to define “love” in one word. After looking at their responses, I decided to try to write my own version of love in a short story (scene) form based off of their definition of the word. (More info in the prologue).

Life was bliss until she came. Gently she smiled and since stirred a storm in my life. All I know is I love her. She is everything where I'm more ambitious and want to life to its fullest. Time will only tell what is kept in future for me. But till then i'll keep writing about her, defining in her different ways !

This is a story about a girl who counts her life away.

Set in the year 1912 we follow the protagonist, former Pinkerton agent Booker DeWitt, who is sent to the floating air city of Columbia to find a young woman, Elizabeth, who has been held captive there for most of her life. Though Booker rescues Elizabeth, the two become involved with the city's warring factions: the nativist and elite Founders that rule Columbia and strive to keep its privileges for White Americans, and the Vox Populi, underground rebels representing the underclass of the city. During this conflict, Booker learns that Elizabeth possesses strange powers to manipulate "Tears" in the space-time continuum that ravage Columbia, and soon discovers her to be central to the city's dark secrets.
