This story follows the path of Milada Schaefer. After the titans breach Wall Maria she goes to stay with the mother of the soldier whom saved her, and after some time and thinking she enlists in the military. Her journey only begins there, for she soon after catches sight of the 13th Commander of the Scouting Legion, Irvin Smith. She changes her mind from joining the Stationary guard to the Recon Corps. She soon regrets the hasty decision she has made. After all, there is a barrier that seems to separate them.
