The oldest Mikaelson surprisingly wasn't Freya, it was her older twin sister Fleur. Fleur was different, she didn't show normal magical abilities. It was more chaotic and emotion driven. My idea for this fanfic came from the play written by William Shakespeare, 'A Midsummer Night's Dream. Here is an excerpt: I laid down on the forest ground. It was odd to believe I could even survive one night in the middle of a forest, but Edward was right beside me. Jacob laid down on the other side of me. He had found us running off to be eloped and threatened to go home and tell Charlie. Somehow, we convinced him not to. As I pondered these thoughts, I drifted to sleep. But when I woke, Edward was nowhere to be found.
