a short story about masking your queer self. thought i'd hop on this train wagon of a trend myself. based off of the 2024 movie named "I Saw the TV Glow." this'll be pretty angsty lol. the ending's a bit bittersweet.

This is the first thing I'm going to publish. It's not a story, but maybe rather a short one. I hope you like it!

Morgan is an outcast. She's bullied at school, mistreated by her dad at home, and feels uncomfortable in her own skin. So she turns to escapism. Books, movies, the occasional manga... but above all, tv. In particular she's borderline obsessed with The Pink Opaque. The adventures of Tara, Isabel and Lise start to feel more real to her than her dreary existence. Morgan and her stepsister Maddy and their friend Owen start to feel like their connection to the characters is more than just a kinship....

i think i was born wanting more - He sees Isabel. Her long hair and dress and pink pink pink. He's almost there. But then he's pulled out.
