It wasn't romantic. It wasn't planned. And according to both of them, it wasn't permanent. Back in Mumbai, they make a perfectly sensible arrangement. No one needs to know about the marriage. She needs a new place to live. He happens to need a tenant. They will share a roof, continue their separate lives, and quietly end the marriage six months later. Simple. Except somewhere between morning tea, late-night conversations, family dinners, arguments over absolutely nothing, and a house that slowly begins to feel different, their inconvenient arrangement starts becoming dangerously comfortable. Six months isn't very long. Unless it is long enough to build something neither of them knew they were missing. They had already decided how their marriage would end. The only problem? By the time the date arrives... neither of them may want the divorce anymore.

So I have been dying to use this title particularly because I LOVE this song from Baazigar. And finally with this KC I got my chance I had wanted to write something on this the moment I saw SBS/SBB and the other BTS/On Loc videos but nothing worked to inspire me until I saw the episode last night and was a puddle of mush the first time and went bonkers the second one. Those in the 11 pm LU thread know I was on a trip last night LOL So this one is dedicated to the awesome IshRa, the fabulous DivAn and the lovely, lovely friends who share my lunacy in the 11 pm LU thread and assure me that should I land in an asylum thanks to IshRa I wont be alone. So here' my twist to the incomplete date night

The inspiration behind this one is a song, an old classic that is an absolute favorite of my dad' and yeah mine too...last night the number played on an channel and somehow the wheels in my head started spinning... Dunno about coherency or anything else at the moment, cause right now I am just happy and celebrating the reapperance of my muse ...hope this track wraps up soon else it may disappear again As always, NOT PROOFREAD.

This is weird, weird but I cannot help it. The reason I'm beginning my note with that very cryptic, absurd line is because this was first meant to be an OS...it is now a TS... this was supposed to be a sequel, to my last OS - Ishq Mera Kaamil - and is now its prequel...crazily, I don't know how it got to be that... I started writing one thing, my imagination ran away with something else, and this became that... I would have named this Jaate They Japan, Pahunch Gaye Chin...if it were even a little bit humorous remotely LOL In short, I'm hoping this makes more sense than my note here and I'll end this here before I get questions about whether I have finally lost my marbles. I really don't know what brought this along, only it simply came to me by itself. I don't know how it is to be honest really, just that it's a whimsical piece penned by me which came unexpectedly to me, that I simply had to write, since it wouldnt stop bugging me. Where this came from... well I have no clue, only I was kinda free and suddenly my thoughts veered towards YHM, its current track, the spoilers up for next week and Game of Thrones... yeah I am a fan of the series - show and books... so lets just say this baby is a by-product of all of these elements. Its an One Shot (Mother's day spl) on my Fan Fiction sequel named Phirse Jeena Woh Lamhein which is available on India Forums.

Four separate souls -- Raman, Ishita, Ruhi, and Adi -- in four separate cities; but somehow CONNECTED. How? Read to find out.... Ishita Iyer has been dreaming of a life as a dentist, wife, and mother, but destiny plays a cruel joke on her, as her dreams are shattered by her fiancé Subbu right before their engagement. She moves to Delhi with her family, searching for the remedy of her broken heart, only to find happiness in the most unexpected place. Raman Bhalla was a blessed son, brother, husband, and father, only to have his world destroyed by his wife Shagun after five long years of marriage. Cursed with a scorched soul and burned by the weakness called love, he flees from Delhi, only to find peace and joy in the very place he left behind. Disclaimer: This is my retelling of the iconic show "Yeh Hai Mohabbatein." I am a huge fan of the initial 1.5-2 years which were telecast at 11 pm. Those initial days of YHM are the inspiration for my story. I attempt to close loopholes and expand on relationships and character conflicts that were insufficiently addressed on the show (in my opinion). The characters here are all the same as in the original show. The only difference is that Simi's husband and Ananya's father is a guy named Pulkit. Both Simi and Pulkit are good people and happily married. Param is not a character in this story. If you are unfamiliar with the original characters, please refer to the family trees added with the trailer. Although the story and premise is different, I will be recreating certain tracks that could have gone better in my opinion (Ishita's infertility; custody trial of both Ruhi and Adi; Mani's entry and Raman's jealousy; Ishita's insecurities regarding Shagun; IshRa pregnancy track and Pihu's birth).
