A child was found almost dead in the middle of the field. She seemed to have no knowledge of her past, her parents and even normal human emotions. She was like a doll, literally and figuratively. When the doctor who saved her discovered she knew only one thing --- healing and medicine, for she can identify all kinds of herbs at first glance --- the doctor decided to take her in. She grew up to very beautiful but very doll-like: monotonous, dull and without feeling. The townsfolk calls her the cursed beauty. Then, one fateful winter evening, she met a young man. An artist whose eyes shone with life, who wanted to explore the world, to meet every kinds of people, for what he found most beautiful was human emotions. How exquisite anger can be, how chaotic. How love can be so powerful that it can move mountains. But she didn't understand any of this. One could say they were the complete opposites. So, the young man decided to take her along with him, determined to show her the wonders of the world, to make her see the beauty of people. Most of all, he was determined to make her live. He would cuddle her at night, letting her curl up at his throat as he drifted off. At first his parents objected to Iskra sleeping on the bed but after coming in to see her small paws kneading Stiles's throat to calm him after a nightmare and panic attack, they gave no more objections. Iskra just knew what her boy needed.
