I replied. "Fair enough. Here... crouch down and light my way!" He said handing the torch back. I took the torch and crouched as Zach prepared to get down, "Ready?" I asked. "I was born..." he put his foot on the first of the iron bars, it creaked loudly sending waves of echo up and down, "Damned!" he breathed. ***** Zachariah and Aliya aren't exactly friends, sure they grew up together but that's that. But when Zachariah decides to break into his ancestral home on the river island Afruz, Aliya tags along.
