This story is inspired by Isle of Dogs, the movie. After a nuclear apocalypse, dogs roam an empty desert, looking for food and fighting for survival. Axel and his friends in a pack adventure through the desert, only to discover that dogs are on the verge of extinction. Not knowing what to do, Axel has to choose between his own survival, or sticking with his pack mates to survive in an empty desert full of other dogs fighting for food.

Blind, female reader! (Your name) was a normal, preteen girl living in Megasaki City. She had dreams and hopes of what to become as she grew, she had plans for her future, life was treating her well. Then (Your name) was diagnosed with Glaucoma, and her life took a turn for the worst. Her life seemed more sad and depressing, it was as if her world turned completely devoid of color or happiness. Her doctor suggested a guide dog, to assist her in her every day life. But when her guide dog is torn away from her and taken to Trash Island, a new quest blossoms to find her dog, with the help of five strays and an orphan boy. WARNING(S): Spoilers for the movie!

Edit: I don't have the heart to delete this but it sucks! Please don't read this. I own nothing but my oc. I haven't seen any stories about this yet so I decided to give it a try. I may not be able to update often because of homework and school but I will give it a shot. This is one of my favourite movies and Duke is my favourite character so why the f*** not. This is my first fanfic so sorry if it's terrible!
