'Campfire Conversations' are a collection of short stories retelling classic Bible stories from the old and new testaments. They follow two points of view: the POV of our story tellers, Martha and Lucius, and the POV of the people in the Bible accounts. These POVs are separated by the * symbol. 'David's Mighty Men' tells the story of three men in King David's army who went the extra mile to protect his kingdom and spark bravery in their fellows, when the Philistines had discouraged them all. For their courage and valiance, they earned themselves honourable mentions in 2 Samuel 23. These men are proof that trusting God for protection, and being bold even in times of tribulation, are qualities which only spread and sharpen those around you. When we are willing to risk it all, God can use us the most.

This is the Walk of the Israelites. How Moses saw the Lord in the burning bush, how both Moses and Ramses II viewed the ten plagues, and last but not least, the Red Sea. Enjoy :) P.S. this book is designed not to feel like a "dusty old Bible story" but relate able and fun. So if your turned off that this is a religious book, don't be. I've had several atheists and such tell me they love the book. So come on in P.P.S. I'm getting better in my writing so if you don't like the story because you think I suck at writing, skip forward to say chapter 10. If I still suck then...wow I gotta get better at this.....Anyways thank all of you guys so much and have a great day.

A King died, and God had already chosen a man to replace him, a man named David. The Bible teaches us about corruption, jealousy, and envy when we read King Saul's story. And then we learn about loyalty, obedience, courage and fear when we study King David's life. Though David made plenty of mistakes, his faith in God was his true power! David was after God's heart, he wanted to glorify God because he knew God protected him and blessed him. Studying these Bible stories truly give us wisdom to understand that God is ultimately in control, that God wants us to depend on faith for every single situation and that we should fear God. King David was a strong warrior, he was a magnet for people and never had trouble building a strong following. He had many hardships yet he still never let go of his dependence on God. He was a well respected king and his life gives everyone who studies it encouragement to know God will protect us through every challenge we face.

Please note that this, like all my works, isn't meant to be taken seriously. And I apologize if this offends any member of an Abrahamic faith. That's never my intention. I just want to do my own thing. This experiment of mine is majorly based on the Biblical narrative with some alterations. Judaism, Christianity, and Islam are a major influence, as well as lesser known Abrahamic faiths like Samaritanism, Druzism, Mandaeism, Rastafari, Baháʼí, Gnosticism (a collection of religious ideas and systems), etc. This is basically my own version of what's going on and shown in Abrahamic faiths, along with aspects of other cultures and beliefs, folklore, and some urban legends. And even beings, and other stuff of legend, people wouldn't expect Him to create and allow to exist. As well as events that nobody expected to actually happen and some people would exist.

Continuing the study of the Holy Bible to gain inspiration, confidence and courage to live happier, more fulfilled lives. We learn from history how to navigate our world to make better decisions. We learn through God's word that our emotions, thoughts, attitude, actions, and behavior have major consequences in our own lives, and those around us. We sew the seeds of love, and reap love. We sew the seeds of hate, resentment, bitterness, and strife we reap disease, stress, depression, and anger. Actions, emotions, and attitudes matter! Reading and studying the Holy Bible is God's direct map into navigating a happier and healthier life. We can live a life fulfilled and content if we follow God's guiding hand. Transcendence 3 tells about the Israelites as they continue their journey into the promised land. Studying their lives in the Bible is the instrument that brings us together with God.

The Series: With her immense size, complex culture and esoteric politics, China, or the Middle Kingdom as the Chinese call her, can be puzzling even for the natives. The famous Dao De Jing thus begins: "The way that can be told is not the eternal Way. The name that can be named is not the eternal Name." Trapped in China's haze-plagued cities, one has constantly to resort to the Principle of Uncertainty. It is in this milieu of mystery that I start writing The Secret History of the Middle Kingdom, a 9-volumn science fantasy series that plans to merge truth with myth by reinterpreting China's long and tumultuous past as part and parcel of a cosmic struggle that "laid the foundations of the earth". After all, a literary name for China is Shen-Zhou, the Divine Land. No prior knowledge of Chinese culture required, readers will join those women and men living in "interesting times" in righting their personal wrongs and standing up to massive evils, and know the eternal Way, say the eternal Name. Volume One: "When I Laid the Foundations of the Earth..." In an "unamended" timeline, Third Emperor of Great Qin, born 119 years later than Alexander of Macedon, makes the East and the West meet in a Hellenized China that in every way transcends her time. However, Pasa, as his Majesty was christened at birth, would give all that away for an answer: Why did you order my death thirty years ago, Father? Perhaps, as he lay dying, the First Emperor of Qin, who had unified the country and named her China, decided to go back on his pact with the Devil. Now, as the Devil returns to demand its end of the deal and the whole world begins to fall apart, Pasa has no choice but to seek help from a 22-year-old fisher, whose rebel father once even took the Qin capital. The prince and the peasant must come ever closer, uncover the lost past of Earth and Man, and undo the Divine Knot to create an alternate history that would become ours. . .
