May and Ben die in the shooting, Peter has to go to an orphanage. Ryoma's parents die in a car crash, Nanako doesn't know cuz she is too busy in college, Ryoga doesn't know cuz he's in Arizona so Ryoma goes to the same orphanage Peter is in. Peter and Ryoma both get adopted by a lady called Aella, The boys soon find out that Aella was not normal and wanted to use them for experiments, but they couldn't get out before she got them. After some time being there they both became some half-human half-monster thing, after 4 years of going through experiments they both breakout and Ryoma kills Aella. {Ryoma can't play at full power, Ryoma is a cat-hawk mix, and can talk to cats and birds alike. Hero name: kitten Peter is a spider mix but has more traits of spiders, and can talk to all spiders alike. Hero name: spider-man.} Ryoma was 8 and Peter was 11 when they left Aella.
