Huo Ah lived his youth with a severe case of 8th grader syndrome, pretending to be the demon kings general from one of his 'favourite' cultivation novels: 'An 8-step guide on taking over the world'. How he managed to get his hands on this R-rated book at 14 will forever remain a mystery he will never want to uncover. Now a 23 year old adult, an unexpected issue had presented itself... His spoiled Cousin wants that cursed book which has plagued Huo Ah's heart for years... For his 18th Birthday... After being pestered by his family, Huo Ah ends up walking to the local bookshop with said cousin to buy the ominous 'An 8-step guide to taking over the world' and ends up getting hit by a cyclist... It seemed like the heavens wanted to screw him over, so kindly pushing a broken system into his hands they shoved his consciousness into the world of that goddamn novel! Reece and Jake have been best friends since freshman year of high school. Now in their senior year the boys are closer than ever.
