Akira Uchiha hasn't had the easiest life. From her abusive father, to the death of her brother, and the massacre of the Uchiha clan, life had been hell for her. Even her once best friend, Sasuke Uchiha, left her on her own, alone to wrestle with her demons. Yet no matter, how many years had passed, she still held onto her feelings for him, and for a while, the good memories were the only thing that got her through the days. Then, as fate would have it, the two Uchiha's reconnected, having been placed on the same team. Although he's a lot more cold-hearted than she remembers, she isn't the only one who notices that she is the chink in his cold armor. Things start to get a bit more hectic as she finds her feelings for him have turned into something she knew he would never return. On top of that, she discovers this whole other side to her life that she sure as hell never signed up for. Not only does she have to battle her emotions, but she will need to resist the urge to give into her demon half, Okami. Scared she could hurt the ones she loves and scared of being alone once more, Akira takes her problems head on, with the optimistic (and possibly stupid) hope that things will work out for her in the end.
