Wrote this a while back in a rush so expect it to be a bit rushed. Megumi is just a pretty prince tsudere and Itadori is just a buff human Golden retriever. Nobara is just there

Gojo's dead, and Megumi's a mess. Yuji tries to call out, but Megumi constantly pushes him away. It just life, and Megumi needs to move on. In this emotional story, Megumi and Yuji bond grows stronger, and the chain of love will never break.

Yuji and Megumi were sent off on a mission together, just the two of them. No supervision from Gojo or anyone else. For this mission they were supposed to be exorcising a grade 3 curse, but once they arrived at the designated location Yuji felt something was off. His cursed energy felt strange, like it was eating at him. He ignored it, tried not to acknowledge it. Unknowingly making things so much worse for him and Megumi both.

"so megumi, what's your type?" "i don't know. just someone i know is only mine? like i don't have any competitor and shits. i just want him to myself."

'He knew now, that he was going to cherish Megumi with everything he had. Yuuji, Megumi, and Nobara are online friends. While Megumi and Nobara know each other IRL, all they know about Yuuji is that he's an energetic teammate who goes by the username punchingtiger320, and all Yuuji knows is that his two friends are friends in real life and they all make a great team together. Sure, maybe Megumi has a thing for his long distance friend, but it's not like it would ever go anywhere. Two souls that are always meant to be together. ~~ After a joke question from Itadori after Satoru finds out about him and Megumi, Satoru's memories fly back to him, as he slowly tells the pair and others of his relationship with an unnamed other.

It was four days before their first year of high school that Megumi realised he had feelings for his best friend.

Yuuji didn't think it was that hot outside for him to be this red, but Fushiguro was the one to exorcize the curse so it made sense that he was more worked up.
