And this time, the rescue involves us lying to the entire world (Basically my father and the whole college campus) about a fake scandal and an even faker relationship. This shouldn't be a big deal. None of that romance crap. Just two people, who hate each other, becoming partners in crime for a few months. The only problem is Drew's charismatic, charming ass whom I'm having a whole lot of a hard time resisting. He's inching closer and closer to being the only person who's cracking my exterior to reveal someone I know he won't want. Becoming the only person in whose words I take comfort. Yep. Words that shouldn't have an effect on me. So shouldn't his arms, no matter how cozy they feel. Or his perfectly sculpted face. Or his smile. Stupid. Fucking. Smile. Goddamn it. It's going to end in heartbreak. How do I know? Because he's starting to feel like Apricity...
