A fanfiction of Rain World, a game by Video Cult. It's funny how nature adapts even when the world has tilted to its limit. The way entire societies crumble to nothing, and yet, time still turns like nothing happened. The fallen are buried under a sea of darkness, and at its surface, a new seed sprouts. But the fallen are still remembered. They leave behind their old shadows, their offspring, and the consequences of their decisions. It will hopefully be finished soon.] The Labyrinthine: a little rodent created from scavengers and slugcats to achieve a goal that would give it nothing in return. The Iterators: A hundred different pantheons of all kinds of gods: malicious, benevolent, all still chaotic to their metal cores. Mere existence in this rain-cursed world is a game of life, death, and ascension... but the way things are headed, the random gods may not be set to win this round after all.

Pebbles is about to break their self destruct taboo. Moon is about to collapse. Suns feels the guilt of their actions and decides to broadcast to pebbles in hopes to change their mind and maybe confess some of the feelings they have for them.
