(The following story contains spoilers for Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.) Web of Lies takes place directly after the events of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse and contains my own interpretations of predictions that have been made for its upcoming sequel, Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse. This story will contain characters that do not exist in the Marvel canon, such as my personal OCs, and each chapter will focus on a different character's perspective.

Okay, let's do this one last time yeah? My name is Jayden Lee Jackson and for the past six months, I've been New York's one and only Ghost-Spider. I think you know the rest. Lost my family, got adopted by a cop, Enrolled into the greatest school, made a friend, got bitten by a strange unique spider on a field trip, made a couple of enemies, stopped a few gangs, getting chased by the police, and I even got sent to court yeah my life has been weird. My best friend bonded to some alien parasite named Venom and also became a vigilante but he goes by the name Spider-Man. But no matter how many times I got knocked down, or got backed into a corner, or how many times I get hit, I always find a way to get back up. Because I'm Ghost-Spider, and no one can take that away from me.

READER』- a quaint little hole-in-the-wall diner in the country's biggest city is unexpectedly greeted by the beloved arachnid masses. all much to y/n's dismay; who of which is already teetering with the responsibilities of running the tastelessly multicolored restaurant stuck within the boom of the 1950's and her own mini-crises. what a drag honestly. but with every incidental slip of the tongue and spunky remark, she can't help but catch the attention of many. that much is expected, with her snappish personality, created from far too many long and tiresome nights on her belt. but that's not the point. as incidentally this insignificant waitress gets tangled into a whole new web of problems; courteous of the spidermen and spiderwomen, of course. a descriptive story.
