As she tries to get through her life making everyone else happy while she is broken inside she also has to deal with the fact of being sick and no one knowing but her father. Progressing through high school and doctors appointments is really taking a toll on her with no one else to lean on for support. Will Cara find someone in her life that she can trust or will she forever be alone?

Desolate. Dullness. Despair. those are the words to describe the world now. Everything's changed. and not for the better either. nobody can be trusted anymore. After the war that is what we were left with. After the war. The war the vampires decreed on us; the werewolves. They wanted to enslave the humans. For their own enjoyment. We the werewolves couldn't allow that. So we broke into war..... All to protect the humans. After the war ended we were left with this. What was left at least. Most females didn't survive either vampires took them or tried to turn them. Which almost all don't survive the transformation. So they were protected or close too it. Humans went into hiding. Their instincts telling them too. I should know. I was there. Right in the middle. Fighting along side my family and friends. Headed towards our enemies. I was left alone. One of the ones left, alive. Maybe even the last female not caught. An Orphan.... Nobody was Safe........ Unless you had a pack to protect you.
