A narcissistic mother and an alcoholic for a father. Oikawa's life at home is a disaster. He and his older brother were never given the chance to experience childhood to the fullest. From the very start, the two of them had to watch out for their parents rather than it being the other way round. His not always genuine smiles are often there to block out any hints of hurt or sadness, but Iwaizumi was always there to point out those fake smiles. He, however, never knew the reason behind those fake smiles. Multiple school volleyball teams go out for a training camp for two weeks and everyone was looking forward to those two weeks - even Oikawa. But those two weeks went from an exciting time to a painfully long torture the moment someone twists the knife in Oikawa's wound.

"a one sided romance shall be noticed" Ps. that was my quote^^^ Yes, we all know Oikawa is madly in love with 'Iwa-chan'. But most Fics have Iwa-chan running from his "gay thoughts". Just a hint.
