Y/N is finally able to convince her mom to let her move back to Iwatobi for the last two years of high school. Her mom rents her an apartment close to school and the Matsuoka residence. Y/N's mom and Mrs. Matsuoka have been close for a while, bonding over the tragic loss of their husbands. Back in Iwatobi Y/N reconnects with her childhood friends Haru, Mako and Nagisa. The four hadn't seen each other since Y/N's mom was offered a promotion causing them to move to Tokyo. Y/N is happy to be back, but the absence of her fourth friend- Rin- is one that she feels deeply. The three Iwatobi boys tell her how Rin is back, swimming at another school and how he's changed. What will happen when Y/N and Rin reconnect? Note: In this fanfic, not a lot is much different from the Free! we all fell in love with.
