Hanahaki disease is an illness born from a one sided love. Where the patient's throat will fill up with the flower petals that are loved by their crush, which they will then eventually throw and cough up, sometimes even the whole flower will appear. One of the only ways for this illness to 'disappear' is if, the person they fell in love with returns the feelings. Not in a friendly manner but in a romantic one. This infection can also be removed through an emergency surgery. In the process of this surgery that person will lose all romantic feelings they had for that person. If the person choses to live with it and the feelings are not returned in time the patients lungs will fill up with the flowers, and eventually suffocate. "Hey, look at me I'm right here."
