How do you know if you truly love someone? Is it based on "how pretty/handsome they are" Or "because they knew you for a long time?" Or "based on sparks?" What if? You, don't fall on any of those?. How do you know if you truly love them?

A short poem about my love that will never die, but grow

She had dreams, goals and plans as does everyone but it did not occur to her nor anyone else that everything can be turned around in a short space of time. A marathon of unexpected events, both good and bad, changed everything she was and wanted to be. Decisions that she had to take which determined and shaped both others' and her future. Sacrifices. Regrets. Suffering. Does love overpower friendship or is the bond between friends greater than any other? Why do we do the things that we do? Can one action change everything? Her faith, her patience and her strength is put to test, for longer than she expects.
