First, his names Alex cause I said so, second you guys live on Jupiter, basically your society was breed by the guy in Jupiter (Adam) and the alien girl he fell in love with (Ida) and they had children who then fell in love with other aliens and blah blah blah, this story takes place a million years later so doesn't matter. You and Alex are born at the same time in the same hospital and your parents grew close due to it, you and him have been friends your entire life.
