The Glass Snowflake follows Snizhynka, a young man who lives in a cozy cottage alone after his grandparents passed away a few months prior. As he knows that he's at the age where he longs for intimacy and companionship, he wishes to love and marry a person in the future. Snizhynka would often get introduced to various folks who appear to be friendly, but in reality their hearts are as cold as ice! Snizhynka then kindly rejects his suitors and suitresses, and decides to craft his own companion with a full supply of glass made from enchanted snow. The glass was found from another village by his grandparents that was destroyed by war years earlier. He then successfully forms the glass into a beautiful woman named Jilas and then magically comes to life in the process. As the two begin to get to know each other, Snizhynka's village is attacked by military forces led by an abnormal man named Voyna Ko'ach and he and Jilas flee from the snowy country to the outside world. However, Jilas reveals that she was once a human girl whose village was attacked by Ko'ach who then cursed her as a full body of glass made of enchanted snow and shattered her to pieces afterwards. Now known to the world as "The Glass Snowflake", Jilas longly yearns to one day be crafted into a beautiful woman in hopes of breaking the curse with an act of true love in order to become human once again! Snizhynka gladly accepts the goal, and the pair set off for the outside world, while acquainting with various folks both young and old from places of the world that aren't touched by Ko'ach's fleet of soldiers. Not to mention, developing feelings for each other throughout their journey in the process. Those feelings are the key to confront Vonya Ko'ach from inflicting their lands with gunfire and bloodshed. In hopes for peace through empathy, kindness, and sensitivity!

The two reveal to Biển, and Đỏ that their childhood manhua was based on a real magical boy team who'd defeated the evil Huī Tội many eons ago during the Hǔ Rồng Dynasty. Now, the two friends must become the next Yin Yang Knights to save their city of Chinietnam from a returned ancient evil. While exploring their feelings for one another, as well as balancing social, and family life outside of hero duty altogether!

The three then go to Cye's Uncle Lörë to fly to Koreapan in a private aircraft. When they reached Koreapan, Cypress, Myra, and Shërmal shockingly discovered Cye's mother, Kikiya stabbed dead on her cottage's floor by a subordinate of the evil Bear King: Kumao. Cypress falls to his knees, and tearfully wails, only to find, and obtain a gray pendant from his mother's right hand. And in the process, unexpectedly transform into a wolf-like superhero: Lone Wolf Ōkami. Now, Cypress will take on the forces of the Kumao, not to mention discovering his connection with wolves while having his friends: Myra, and Shërmal by his side no matter what!!!

It is meant to be warm, maybe a little melancholic at times, but overall a calming experience. It is NOT a story driven by conflict and suspense, but by character interactions and atmosphere. Instead of chapters, Ganymede consists of "episodes" -- separate stories connected by setting, characters, and theme. If you're familiar with "slice-of-life," it will be a lot like that.
