Eric Black was not always a Nomu he was friends with Izuku. Eric was also Izuku's lover before his kidnapping. First ever story that I will have a prologue and wrote the chapters first on ao3.

I never meant to do anything wrong. It just happened. I was the burden of the family, it was my load to bear. But, I was never strong enough to carry it. I always screwed up. I never met expectations. I was just the villain. The mistake. The useless Deku.

At the young age of four, Izuku Midoriya learnt that not all men are made equal. At the age of ten Izuku learns that he indeed does have a quirk and a powerful one at that. But how will he deal with people's reactions to him and more importantly, how will he deal with his drawback?

Izuku Midoriya never had many friends, but he always had his best friend ShandMan18. He may not know much about him, but they'd always be together. (Shigaraki and Midoriya are bff's who play video games together! Izuku's quirk is also OP oops)

Izuku Midoriya was always *hungry*. At first, his parents thought it was just a weird quirk phase-until he started eating things no normal child should. Metal, glass, plastic... it didn't matter. And when he turned four, they learned why. Izuku's Quirk, **Glutton**, lets him absorb and store anything he eats-enhancing his body, releasing stored items with increased power, or **creating living creatures from what he consumes**. At first, it was small things-little monsters that slithered and chirped. But as he grew, so did the things inside him. And the worst part? He's starting to **like it**.

Izuku Midoriya always dreamed of being a hero. Like most kids his age, he couldn't wait for the day he'd visit the quirk doctor to learn what power he might have. Full of energy and hope, he and his mother head to the clinic-and what they discover changes everything. Izuku's quirk, an emitter-type ability called Author, allows him to create a pen and notebook from his own body. What he writes or draws with them has the potential to become real. It's powerful, creative, and full of possibility-but it comes at a cost. Every creation takes energy, time, and precision. Izuku Midoriya once dreamed of becoming a hero. But as he grew older, he learned that heroes don't save everyone. He watched as children who were too powerful were feared and experimented on. Children deemed useless were discarded and forgotten. Children labeled villainous were hunted before they could choose who to become. And the quirkless? That pain was familiar. When a worldwide government authority intervened and pulled Izuku out of a future that would have quietly erased him, he was given a choice: remain protected-or stand with them. Izuku chose to stay, not out of blind loyalty, but out of resolve. Now a government agent assigned to a classified sanctuary, Izuku works to rescue and rehabilitate children the world has already decided are dangerous. Izuku was bad luck. Literally. With this pesky Bad Luck quirk of his, can he be the hero he had always yearned to be? What happens when One For All is thrown into the mix? Following the attack of his home and his mother being killed, Izuku gets placed into foster care and tries continuing his life like normal. But the grief eventually catches up to him and he tries to end it all by jumping off a roof, unexpectedly awakening a hidden Quirk. With his new found power, he decides to take the route of a Vigilante and fight crime as an immortal 13 year old. As Izuku brings in more and more villans, he inevitably attracts more attention and the Pro Hero Eraserhead is soon tasked with bringing in the slippery Vigilante after many others failed. OR: Izuku's mom dies, he gets send to some weird foster family with 1 kid (and parents which should definitely get a divorce) and a whole bunch of middle school drama while Aizawa tries his very best to catch a 13yr old while not traumatizing him even more. ***This is discontinued and will NOT be getting updates anymore. There /may/ be a re-write of it in the future, but I will only be posting it when or /if/ it gets finished. Also, I apologize for the cringe writing, and while I would love to say that I have gotten better since then, I'm not the type to enjoy lying*** What if Midoriya Izuku had a quirk, but didn't tell anyone? As Izuku looked over the edge of the roof he felt what he could only describe as the call of the void. After such a depressing and chaotic day after such a monotone, dreary life, Izuku just couldn't resist. He fell, but nobody hit the pavement. ... All Might, or Yagi Toshinori for the few who knew his real name, had a stressful week. He was getting weaker, had been for a while, but it seems as though that fight with the sludge villain sucked more of his strength than he realized. Things he used to do in his hero form had become rapidly harder to perform in such little time, forcing him to come to terms with losing his quirk sooner than expected. ... One For All is not just a quirk. It is the combined power, ideals, quirks, and consciousness of all of its past users. As such, when they saw this young, Green haired boy before their current vessel, they knew they would have to take the quirk's path into their own hands. After all, whether or not the quirk was passed on had to do with the willingness to do so, and all the past users wanted to, even if Yagi's permission was flimsy. ---- Old summary: He followed his hopes and dreams to the edge of the roof. Izuku Midoriya has a quirk the only problem is it comes in late and isn't that useful on its own but he is determined to be a hero even if he needs help to do so but that may work out for the best. He does find it strange though that most of the people who want to be around him are girls which unfortunately for the cinnamon roll he doesn't have much experience with being around or close to for that matter. Izuku Midoriya was born to be a ray of sunshine. Someone who gave hope to anyone he graced with his smile. Someone who would do anything for a friend. Someone who would give his all no matter the cost. For the most part, Izuku is. He smiles in the face of everyone who mocks and scorns him for being quirkless. He defends anyone in trouble no matter how much they hate being saved by a 'Deku'. He hugs and reassures his mother whenever she worries for him. He lives life as happy as anyone else. Or at least that'd be true if Izuku were an idiot.
