As everyone knows, gods are the representation of something. Whenever a part of reality comes to be, a god is formed in response. The gods live in the mystical land of UA. UA is split into two sides: Un, where there is brightness and where most of the gods live, and Az, the dark side of UA and where only a few gods live. The two sides are never suppose to interact with each other. However, one day, Eijiro Kirishima, the god of joy, decides to sneak into Az , where the gods of creation and heroism live. He managed to break into Az with the help of his friends. Almost immediately, he runs into Izuku Midoriya, the god of sadness. They grow an interest in each other, but must keep their friendship a secret, for fear of the repercussions of breaking the law.

The Throne of Heroes. A place that exists beyond time and space. All the legends of all the greatest heroes throughout history from all the realities are recorded there. It exists beyond the reach of any human beings. All, but one. Brendan Chaldea, a strange orphan boy with a quirk that allows him to ta into the power of the Throne of Heroes. Brendan has come back to Japan after a long year of traveling and he will now be attending UA, not to become a hero, but to understand humans. At least, that was his original intent. However, meeting the students of UA has begun to change him. How will he change and will he become a hero for himself?
