Todoroki met Midoriya AU once at least when they're small. And starting at UA, Midoriya has made him start to use his fire, and finally open up a part of himself he never tried to see and feel.

TW: angst, depression, self harm Deku has depression. he tells Todoroki, his crush, this in order to reach out so he didn't kill himself. Todoroki tells Deku that he loves him and that he couldn't live without him. Deku eventually stops self harming and having many suicidal thoughts. so Todoroki tells him the truth, he doesn't love him. he only did it so Deku wouldn't kill himself. but this didn't help. Deku started to self harm extremely and attempted suicide, which was when Todoroki realised he did love Deku after all. HAPPY ENDING. DEKU DOES NOT DIE
