It's been her dad, her mom and her for a long time. After the attack happened they moved to the New York institute, there she met Isabelle, jace, and Alec. They all became best friends her and Izzy even became Parabatai. She slowly grew feelings for Alec over the years but he was older than her and probably only liked her as a sister. But that was the least of her problems when she found out her mom died from unknown reasons.
