Violet Targaryen was the middle daughter of King Viserys Targaryen I and Alicent Hightower, sister of Aegon II, Aemond and Helaena. She might have been born among the Greens, but her heart lived with her half-sister's side, Rhaenyra Targaryen, the rightful heir to the Iron Throne. Since the fight her mother and Rhaenyra had when young, the family has split, and so did Violet's heart. She found peace in her nephews, even if she hated calling them that, Rhaenyra's sons. Her sister Helaena was betrothed to Aegon, right before Rhaenyra could propose the betrothal with her oldest son, Jacaerys. There was nothing else to do if not proposing Jacaerys in marriage to Violet and King Viserys, even if his wife didn't agree, accepted.

Lyraela Targaryen is the second eldest child of Rhaenrya Targaryen and Laenor Velaryon. She is however the bastard child of Harwin Strong and Rhaenrya, although she is the spitting image of her mother with bright violet eyes and long silver locks, reminding everyone she is the blood of the dragon.
