Princess Selene would never fit in at the ball. Sure, she was one of the most beautiful women on all of Lunar, second only to her dear cousin Princess Winter. And she acted as a princess should. She was able to waltz, knew how to hold herself as royalty should, and never questioned the word of the queen. But her mind was often else where. It was buried beneath the Glamour she would wear when she dressed as a mechanic. It was lost in thoughts of Earth and the people who walked along the blankets of green that covered their land. And it had even managed to fall for the Earthen Emperor Kaito, a man whose charms even she wasn't immune to. Yes, she would look lovely at the ball. She would waltz with her possible suitors and stand regally before the men and women who wished her a happy birthday. But Selene wasn't like other Lunars. And she would never fit in at the ball.

So I wrote this Lunar Chronicles fanfic circa 2016 and never published it, but I recently logged into my account and found it in my drafts! So with some light editing, I'll publish the first 7 chapters that I wrote and maybe if people read it I'll continue! I'll attach my original middle school description of the story here :) "This is basically a Lunar Chronicles alternate universe, one or two hundred years in the future, but not as far forward as the actual Lunar Chronicles. Cinder, Thorne, Cress, Scarlet, and Wolf are astronauts on the first ship to orbit Saturn. The three-year journey (obviously faster than currently possible) is a big adventure for the five, with lots of action and suspense. Also I am not Marissa Meyer (but I wish I was) so I (sadly) don't own any of the characters. I also don't own the idea of space travel, or the sun, moon, stars, earth, Saturn, none of that stuff. I DO however own the storyline, that does belong to me." so as you can see, I was a bit of a sassy middle schooler who was obsessed with copyright stuff... but anyways, enjoy! thanks for reading. p.s. What if Levana actually had a child with Evret and she was willing to lose everything and do anything for her even kill but happens when her daughter finds out every thing her Mother did. Spring sees her Mother true feelings. Along with trying to find her place in the revolutionary uprising. Dealing with all the stuff going wrong and a broken heart will she ever survive all of it to the end.......... I am changing some of the main story plots. I hope that doesn't make the story horrible in any way.

In an AU where Channary never dies, Cinder, Winter, and Jacin run away from Artemisia. They go to Earth and meet the crew and find out how evil the Lunar court really is. They go back and start hunting the Lunar court.

Cinder and the gang discover Queen Channary's diary and discover that Cinder has a twin brother. Rigel escaped to Earth many years ago with a runaway thaumaturge. Now Cinder is on a mission to find her brother.

Oh and btw this story is about the characters three years before TLC actually starts. This is how old each of them are... Cinder- 13 (Peony- 11 Pearl- 14) Scarlet- 15 Cress- 13 Kai- 15 Wolf- 20 Thorne- 17 Winter- 14 Jacin- 16 And yes I did do my math and research on their ages. The chapters are just going to rotate in order.
