With the War finally over, it would be a time to Celebrate and rebuild right?...Wrong, Mobius is already on the brink of collapse and Metal Sonic plus Infinite knew it's time to strike, since their enemies would never know what's about to happen to the world. Sequel to Spirit of the Phantom Ruby (If you haven't read the first story, you better go and read it first or this plot will not make a whole lot of sense) Infinite the jackal finds himself in over his head when he agrees to join G.U.N.'s prisoner redemption program, the Foundation for Villain Redemption. Drama unfolds as a new enemy emerges under the disguise of a G.U.N. mandate, bringing chaos to Mobius and utilizing the Phantom Ruby's destructive illusions. Who is N.I.T.E.? And will our heroes be able to put a stop to their villainy? Disclaimer; Minor no-no language. Additionally, this story was written soon after Spirit of the Phantom Ruby, which was written very shortly after Sonic Forces came out. Months before the madness happened, she was close friends with none other than Infinite himself. They were like siblings due to how close they were back in the days, going on adventures with the Jackal Squad that Infinite led, even though he was formerly known as Zero in the past. Her whole life changed after when the squad was killed off, causing her to flee from the Eggman base the squad was defending. She hadn't seen Infinite ever since then, since she had escaped that tragic and morbid moment. Discovering that he was working for Eggman shattered Catherine. It broke her heart. She tried bringing sense back into him, but nothing worked. Now that the war is over, it was finally time for her to find Infinite, give him the second chance he desires, and hopefully, the two can be friends again. Just like the old times. I do not own Sonic Forces nor the characters. The game and all characters and belong to SEGA; the only thing I own are my OCs.

So what happens when this mysterious girl encounters a neutral cold-hearted hedgehog, merciless ruthless robot, insecure sadistic jackal, cunning confident hedgehog, prideful grudge holding fox, and a cruel villainous queen? Maybe they're not so different from her...afterall...there's more to the girl than meets the eye...
