Jack is hoping for change. He lives alone with his mother, and always finds himself wishing for more. He wants comfort, affection; he wants to be loved. Roger and Mabel are hoping for change. They live with each other in the clouds, loving each other, but wishing they had something else. All they want is a child.

This is my fairy tale version of "Jack and the Beanstalk" but it is going to be told in a different way. It's about two cup brothers and their chalice sister who lived in a cottage with their grandfather kettle and the three cups are about to have their giant beanstalk adventure.

AND THEY ALL LIVED HAPPILY EVER AFTER.... NOT! STORIES ALWAYS END HAPPILY, BUT THAT'S JUST NOT TRUE. THIS STORY TELLS WHAT HAPPENS AFTER HAPPILY EVER AFTER OF OUR BELOVED FAIRY-TALE CHARACTERS. SOME ARE HAPPY BUT OTHERS... NOT SO MUCH! PLEASE ENJOY! PLEASE UNDERSTAND THAT THIS IS MY FIRST STORY. I KNOW IT'S TERRIBLE BUT IT SURE IS FUN! LOVE YOU ALLLLLL! (if you actually do indeed like the story and keep reading, I'll update as much as I can. I've got a really busy schedule but I'll try to write when I have available time.)

So in case you didn't know, I am in love w/ The Land of Stories, a series by Chris Colfer. Recently we had an exercise in class to rewrite Jack and the Beanstalk from an unexpected pov, and I couldn't resist using Colfer's version of Queen Red Riding Hood, given her history w/ Jack in the series. Also, there were conditions we had to pick from and use in the story, but I don't think it's necessary for you guys to know them lol. Also, disclaimer that I also put on the assignment in class: -side note- the characters and relationships of characters are NOT mine, except the witch. I just wrote the story based on relationships used in The Land of Stories series, between Red, Goldilocks, and Jack, plus the twins, Gloria the harp, and Charlie (known as Froggy for most of the series, because he had been transformed into a frog by an evil witch). But the writing in this exercise itself is mine :) So there ya go, my first fanfic in a while!
