The foundation has had enough of Jack bright's shit. He's caused so many issues for the foundation, and they're fed up. So? They pluck 21 year old Kayla Jones from her college years to come into the foundation as a brand new researcher. Their issue? They have nobody to train her. Except the very person she was supposed to replace. And Jack knows they're replacing him. He's not stupid, and they're too dumb to Think about how bad of an idea this is. Nothing is going according to plan. At all. Not when they practically have 2 brights running around when they're trying to get rid of one and the original is training his copycat. Not to mention the fact that a man named Elias Shaw shows up at the foundation from a whole other reality, which didn't help anything. And the new girl has strange powers that she ever so kindly calls this "absolute solver" entity, something powerful and they can't predict WHAT they're gonna do next. Nothing's going according to plan at all. And on top of that, she's absolutely crazy and they can't get her under control.
