On one unfortunate day, Jack Clarke (who like the rest, didn't know of Liam and the other Jack's relationship) was told to ask Liam about something, that turned into Jack realising that he actually kind of liked Liam- in that way, and Jack Taylor saw that. From Liam's point of view, it looked as if the two Jack's was fighting for his love, but he couldn't make himself pick one. Though are they really fighting for him?
