Jack and Y/Ns life together was cut short, but at least now they can spend eternity together. But before Jack and Y/N became guardians what was their life like? Things were different in the 1700s. Women were expected to cook and clean and men to hunt and provide for their family. But Y/N wants more from life than to be a housewife. She wants to do her own thing , be free from any expectations. But how can she do that when the world around her expects other things? How will Jack, a carefree teenager who has no thoughts on settling down, who wants to live his life to the fullest, handle the "responsibilities" of what everyone wants him to become? But what happens when Jack and Y/N cross paths, What will fate have in store for the two? And what will become of them? The light spreads, from person to person and that name gains power. Slowly, it is more believed in and that name gets a form, then a face and then existence. This is how the fairy tails came to be. How the protectors and the enemies of the children appeared and how they exist up until today. However, just like in every situation, there is a catch. A small area that is not white or black but grey. There, no side can be taken, and no rules apply the same. In the case of fairy tales, you have the light side with the Guardians and the spirits; tasked to protect their children. On the other side, you have the Boogieman and those who want to harm and terrorize the innocent bright souls of young children. And in the middle, in the grey zone, you have a single lonely figure with a task no one else wants, a task that makes them receive hatred and fear instead of admiration and love. And that person carries it without a word of complaint. That person is Thanatos but nowadays, she goes by Grim Reaper...the Guardian of Life and the outcast of the Big Five.

The spirit of Halloween who gives you a thrill, a frisson of excitement, who is Also known as the pumpkin queen, Samhain? Or sometimes even Bloody Mary. History had repeated itself, causing the man in the moon to appoint a new guardian, the spirit of Halloween herself. However Y/N has no interest in gaining more believers, seeing as everyone who does believe in her has the wrong idea of her. Being feared is not fun and she'd rather not be seen. However, maybe someone who had once been in her position (in a way) can give her a different perspective and hopefully encourage Y/N to keep fighting for what her title should mean. Also Jack is flirting with Y/N the whole time. -the nightmare before Christmas is ever so slightly referenced in this as you can already tell. I do not own it nor do I own ROTG.

Jackie Frost has a normal loner life. If there aren't any bullies bothering her, she gets ignored to the extent of feeling invisible. Sure, she has friends, but they go to a different school. Just her luck. But it gets worse when strange things start happening. Things she can't explain that almost look like magic. She even has some control over it! But that can't be, right? Just when everything seemed to be at it's most perfect, everything changed. Romanna changed. She seemed angry and unhappy all the time and it wasn't because she's Australian. Whenever Jack tried to get close to his love, she would push him away as if he was poison. Something was wrong and Jack was the only one who noticed she was acting different. One of Romie's wounds from the battle with The King of Nightmares didn't properly heal and even though it causes her unbearable pain, she had managed to keep it hidden so no one would know and get worried. You may think the chess game is over and the White Queen (Romanna) knocked out the Black King (Pitch) to save the other chess pieces on the board (Jack, Tooth, Bunny, North, Sandy). But what the White King (The Man in the Moon) did to the Queen to ensure their victory isn't forgiveable and Pitch is planning to use Manny's failure to weaken Romanna. It's the Black King's turn to have a queen. Emily Jane gave Romie her Mother Nature powers and gave The Man in the Moon strict orders which he disobeyed and because of that he will pay. His queen he fought so hard to selfishly keep, he will lose in the game's rematch...
