After Ianto's death Jack disappears for a while and travels across the world. But nothing seems real anymore. His heart is broken. His thoughts chaotic. His life empty. So he leaves and spends his time with some jobs in space and Bars and casinos he can't get rid of the feeling that he forgot about something. That something is different and not only ianto's death. And what he doesn't know is that things at home, in Cardiff, aren't as hopeless as they seem. Ianto isn't as dead as jack thought....and jack is going through a certain change too...and be prepared to meet some old friends too ;)

Ianto groaned softly slowly opening his eyes letting them adjust to the blinding white lights "W-Where am I?" His voice croaked and throat dry, questions flooded his mind as did fear as well the sudden remembrance of the fact that He Ianto Jones died only 5 hours ago. What if Ianto survived the 456, what if Torchwood London stepped in for clean up duties and noticed the agent from the canary wharf battle. This is an AU and doesn't not necessarily follow season four's plot I DO NOT OWN ANY CHARACTERS IN THIS STORY ALL BELONGS TO THE BBC

This is a Torchwood fanfiction about Jack and Ianto's relationship. It follows the normal Torchwood storyline, but I have used some artistic license. Also, Ianto, Toshiko, and Owen do not die (because it broke my heart). I hope you like it!

Jack isn't convinced she's the mastermind behind the attack in Cardiff, but he knows damn well she's hiding something - and he's determined to uncover her secrets. He needs to get to the bottom of the mystery that is Madi Mason.
