A man with curly brown hair discovered him the next day on his way to work. He got his colleagues and they got him to the hospital. This is the story of Wyatt Grayson and his new family.

Dr. Temperance Brennan and Special Agent Seeley Booth arrive at the Jeffersonian and are shocked to see a young girl, about three years old sitting next to Angela Montenegro. She was with the newly found body. At first Brennan wanted her to leave but she was told that the young girl was a witness but is not speaking. As the shy child is walking away Brennan sees two names written on her small hand and recognizes what they are. She feels bad and let's her stay. Brennan begins to see herself in the young girl and refuses to let her go to an orphanage. Brennan begins to take care of the silent child temporarily. They grow fond of each other. Brennan contemplates whether or not to permanently adopt her. Will the child ever be happy again? Will Temperance adopt her? Takes place in season 1
