"You've got to trust me Marco, she does not love you! You're completely oblivious" Star pleaded with her best friend, tears burning her eyes. He just frowned and walked to the door. He stood still in the doorway with his back facing the princess. "You're wrong Star. You're just jealous that you don't have anyone else to hang out with, now excuse me while I get to my date" he said calmly. She watched him slam the door and storm away. Star bowed her head and clenched her fists tight, her nails dug into her palms as the salty tears finally escaped the prison of her eyes. "Fine then" her voice cracked as she whispered to herself. She ran up stairs to her room, locked the door and opened a portal with her dimensional scissors.

However Marco is head over heals for the most popular girl at school, an A+ student just like he is, Jackie Lynn Thomas.
