Rose and The Doctor become very close after travelling together and he realises it's more than friendship. One thing leads to another and he asks Rose to marry him but Rose is upset because her dad should be present to give her away so he does something about it - with consequences. Based loosely on 'Father's Day' and 'The Impossible Planet/The Satan Pit' after the events on Sanctuary Base One, where they were temporarily stranded and talk about setting up home together, he realises they could do this and is willing to sacrifice everything to make Rose happy and some very careful planning takes place. Mixed with a tiny bit of 'Doomsday'

After his regeneration, the Doctor continues to travel with Amy, Rory, and River Song. He is able to put sad memories and past companions behind him, focusing on his adventures, present and future. But when the Doctor tries to seal up the cracks in time and space, they pull him into a parallel universe and into his past. In a place he had vowed never to return to, he sees someone he never expected to see again and hears the most remarkable story from this familiar old friend. I already had a description but I guess it didn't save. So here's a new one probably not as good as the old one. Ruth Tyler is Rose Tyler's twin sister. When Rose goes missing for a year, Ruth was almost certain she lost her sister for good, until she returns with a mysterious man. Rose and the Doctor allowed Ruth to travel with them until the Doctor regenerated. Rose was heart broken. Her Doctor was gone. So Ruth took the spot of his companion. Little did Ruth know that her twin sister wasn't her twin sister and that she would soon learn to love the Doctor.
