Avery Conlon is the twin sister of Spot Conlon, making the two the king and queen of Brooklyn. Spot is overprotective of his sister so what happens when Avery falls for the leader of the newsie strike, Jack Kelly? BEAR IS BACKKKKKKK with a new fanfic and a new fandom NEWSIES! ---- Jack Kelly has to deal with a strike. He also has to deal with his feelings...feelings for someone named David, the only problem is David Jacobs is terrified. He's fallen for someone he shouldn't have-Jack Kelly. And not only that, but he has a sister to care for as well, and Sarah Jacobs recognizes Katherine. Katherine doesn't remember her. And this is an issue because Katherine Pulitzer has started to realize things. She always knew that she and her closest friend, Jack, were alike in many ways. One of these ways, though, is discoverable through the antics of Racetrack Higgins, who has issues. Issues such as Spot, who simply won't leave him alone. Or perhaps it's the other way around...in any case, Spot Conlon has feelings for Race, feelings he wouldn't have known were possible if it weren't for Kid Blink Baletti, who was kissing Mush in a closet. Yeah. In a closet. And Spot found him, which led to Mush Meyers feeling very nervous, because he shouldn't have been kissing Blink-it wasn't legal. This led to Crutchie Morris trying to fix everything between everyone, and everything just being one big, gay mess.

Finch has been in the refuge for years, making friends where she can and trying to survive on little to no food and a beating almost every day. It's not the best 'home', you can't even really call it that, but at least she's not alone. However, when her best friend gets sick, she soon finds herself escaping the refuge to find medicine, making new friends, and joining a strike. Will she make it through this crazy new experience? [ I made the really bad cover btw and I don't own Newsies but my OCs and some of the plot in this story is mine. This story used to be called "A Finch Amongst Newsies" but that was a mouthful for me lol ]

Jack Kelly, Steve Rogers, and Bucky Barnes start the fire to the Newsie revolution. After the Newsies strike WWII starts. Bucky Jack and Steve join the army but Steve isn't able to because of his condition. Steve becomes Captain America and joins the war with the two. Bucky and Jack are lost at war and taken by Hydra. Jack and Bucky become "The Winter Soldiers". Jack is later sent to the Red room while Bucky stays with Hydra. During the events of the winter soldier Jack is found and taken by S.H.I.E.L.D. although he struggles with his memory what will happen when he reunites with his old pals from the 1900's. What will happen when he finds out he's actually related to one of them? How will he cope with the new world? Will he find any new loves? Find out! The Newsies gang holds a history longer than most of the other gangs in New York City. Jack Kelly is the fearless and current leader of a group of paper boys on wheels as well as the leader of the Newsies gang. The boys struggle with their dominant employer beginning to treat them poorly, mostly because it's well known that these boys are in a gang, through his refusal to pay them anymore than what they earn from the tips that they receive from the deliveries they make. While Jack and the rest of the gang struggle with that, there's a new rumble happening in the city. A new sock hop opens up with friendly intentions during opening hours that turn sinister behind the kitchen doors which could very well spell bad things for New York City. That leaves Jack and the boys with one task, to protect the people and the city they love. However, the more the boys visit the sock hop, the more emotional and personal the issues that arise seem to get. Will the boys be able to protect each other, the people and the city they love? Or, will they fall to the unkindness of a new gang and suffer? I own nothing except for my OCs(yes, there are going to be a decent amount of OCs. Some you might recognize from There's A Life That's Worth the Living). Disney owns Newsies, both the Broadway and the original movie from 1992. I also do not own the title. That is from Carrying the Banner during the nun part. One of the Newsies sings it.
