Jaime Kelly, also known as "Books", is the leader of the Lower Manhattan Newsies. She loves her Newsies like they're her family. Every 8 Days she goes to see her best friend, Spot, the "King of Brooklyn". Everything seems to be going pretty normal until one day when she and her brother, Jack, start a strike against "The World". But what happens when memories of her past starts to resurface? And what happens when she makes a bet with " King Idiot" that in 8 days he could get her to say 8 letters? Note: ALL CHARACTERS MENTIONED IN THE 1992 FILM BELONG TO DISNEY. I DO NOT OWN ANY CHARACTERS EXCEPT FOR JAIME AND ANY OTHER CHARACTERS NOT MENTIONED IN THE NEWSIES 1992 FILM!

It's Race's first day of high school. Except he is just in his brothers', Jack and Crutchie, shadows. Every sees him as just the younger brother and he can't take it Spot Conlon has been seen as a spoiled asshole his whole life and is getting pretty damn tired of it. What if the two could help each other change their name. Race and Spot decide to fake date to get some attention in school. However things go south...

Jack thought he didn't have any family left after his father died. 4 years after the strike he finds out he has a little sister. it turns out his mom is alive. she left because she her mother made her leave him and take one child with them. She loved him but she could bare to disappoint her mother so she took her daughter and told her that her father died. one day her child finds a picture of her father with Jack. She finds Jack to spend some time with him to get to know and to tell jack the truth about there mother and to hear about father and to feel like she had a family that cared about her instead of there social stance.

Emma Price has spent the last four years of her life as a newsie under the name James "Crackers" Franklin. But can she hold on to her new identity during the chaos of the strike as suspicions rise among the newsies? All rights go to the creators of newsies 1992 and of the musical. The only character I own is Emma.

A story of two lovers - Jack Kelly and Davey Jacobs. Davey is new to their school and Pulitzer wants his help. Jack is determined to take down Pulitzer. I am really rubbish at writing a summary especially when I don't even have a story idea yet :)

A girl called Laila has always knew spot they've been friends since they were young but when spot becomes friends with jack Kelly and his friends Laila realises her love for spot, as loads of jacks friends try to get with her. She had only just noticed how overprotective spot is of her.

We all know Albert and Race love pranking people. But not all of those pranks work out the way they want it to. Like the prank that poisoned Crutchie. (This is just a stupid little story I wrote. A bunch of the credit goes to VeronicaWeasley (fanfiction.net) who had the conversation with me that inspired this entire thing. The cover art is mine, please give credit if you use it somewhere)

Davey's nerves cause him to sneak out the night after the strike.

Shawn came back from the field at sundown. Every muscle in my body visibly relaxed at seeing him safe and sound. "WHAT WERE YOU DOING?" I screamed at his silhouette while he ran towards me. He didn't answered and kept running as fast as his small feet could carry him. When he was finally close enough for the moon to shed some light on him, I realised he was holding a Sunflower in his hand and a dirty piece of wood . He got down on one knee and held both objects in front me. "This," he began, holding up the piece of wood, " because you run as fast as a car" "That's supposed to be a car?" I mocked. "Shut up and take the gift" he frowned and threw the piece of wood at me. " okay, thank you" I said with a laugh. Leaning down, I grabbed the "car" and a little clump of dirt. When I got back up, the hand with the sunflower was extended to me. " I know it's your favourite" he mumbled angrily. "It is" I answered, taking his hand and the sunflower in mine. ... Sprace fanfic!! And a little bit of Javid but mainly SPRACE!

It's been over a year since the strike has settled and the newsies haven't had any problems with Pulitzer since. But that's not to say that they didn't all have problems outside of work. Jack and Katherine were unhappy together. They didn't feel the love towards each other that they used to feel. Yet they were too scared to say something to one another. Crutchie wanted for his long-time crush to love him back, although he knew that would never happen. Still, one could dream. Davey and Les's father had been severely injured by an incident at work. He wasn't so lucky this time around and passed away due to blood loss. This drove their mother into a state of insanity, forcing Davey and Les to pack up their things and leave. They now live on the streets with their fellow newsies, struggling to support themselves just like every other newsie. Their lives were still pretty crappy and hopeless, but hey, they were still alive and that was what mattered. Then, a new kid shows up at the gates of The World and sends their lives into chaos once more.

Winter. A time of year the newsboys of New York City wish they skip over. It got cold- real cold. Newsies all over would start showing signs of sickness within the first weeks of winter. Not as many people are out on the streets, which means not as many people are there to buy papes. Money gets scarce and it's not like any of them can afford a winter coat. Wintertime is chaotic enough as it is, but when you're a newsboy trying to juggle a forbidden relationship, the death of many friends, and the return of a psychotic family member? Yeah, things can get a little... destructive. Story length: 27,730 ------------------------------ THERE IS A BREAKDOWN OF THE MOVIE VS MUSICAL AT THE VERY END WHERE I JUST DISSECT THE MOVIE AND WHATNOT. IT DOESN'T MAKE A DIFFERENCE TO ME WHETHER OR NOT YOU READ IT, I JUST WANTED TO PUT IT OUT THERE. DISCLAIMERS: - These characters are not mine, they all belong to Disney (excluding a couple little side characters here and there) - The word 'queer' is used frequently towards the end. While I am fully aware that it is not always used as a slur, I just couldn't bring myself to have one of the boys say the 'f' word. (You know the one) - This is going to be a mix of the 1992 Newsies and the Broadway Newsies, so I apologize in advance if you get a little confused. I just can't decide which is better, but for some characters I can only see them as the 1992 version or the broadway version. - Main difference: The relationship is going to be Jack and Katherine, meaning that neither Sarah nor Denton exist. Sorry about that, but since they aren't the main focus of this story anyways, hopefully you won't change your mind about reading this purely on that. - I made the cover using pictures off of the internet so credit to Google Images

This book is literally Newsies One Shots. Can't you read? This book will have anything from hardcore angst to the fluffiest of fluffs that you have ever read. I have three chapters dedicated to prompts in the beginning, so feel free to request something! Also, I wouldn't really know how to write the boys accents, so just read it in the accent. WARNING: This book contains very serious topics, such as: eating disorders depression abuse and others. I am putting warnings at the beginning of each chapter so that if you feel like a certain topic may be triggering to you, you can skip the chapter, or just proceed with caution. I know that people tend to overlook trigger warnings whenever they come up, lots of people even WANTING to be triggered, but please don't read if these are triggering to you.
