John Kennedy has just been elected to the United States Senate when he meets Margaret Carlisle, an aide to one of his political rivals, in the halls of the Capitol building. They both have their own reasons why they should stay away from each other, but from their first conversation, there is an undeniable connection between that neither can deny. What begins as a romance confined behind closed doors, soon becomes something neither of them is prepared for. As their lives become more intertwined, they find themselves tested by ambition, pride and the expectations placed upon them. Through it all they keep finding their way back to each other and soon realize that this relationship change the course of both their lives, forever.

A fic that elaborates on the post DirectDogman made about Vanny being in DSAF-in which Dave insists on killing kids despite Vanny finding them far too cute to do so, and Jack gets tangled in a lie while being caught in between the two.
