The Whingeing Woods hide something. Something dangerous, and occasionally deadly. But the town is blessed with game that keeps families from going hungry, and the danger is a price Nevermoor is willing to pay. Jack gets lost in the magical, very dangerous woods and someone ends up having to help him escape.

I'll do pretty much everything (fluff, angst, ships) unless its, like, Jupiter x Morrigan then HELL NO I am a pretty new author tho so don't judge me :,)

Random ideas, inspired by the book series - Nevermoor. If you want to write a different version, inspired by any of these oneshots, go ahead. Please, just tag me. I know that this is called a oneshot book, but it has oneshots that are all connected, but with not enough between-plot to be told as a complete story. Emotions are complicated. Life is complicated. But it is worth living. We all just need a purpose. I can take requests, if you have any. If you want to make a request, it will be easier for me to write if you tell me: 1. The characters that will be there, or at least the 2 main ones. 2. Where the characters will be, at least at the start. 3. Some smaller details that you'd like for me to add, if there are any. I will post most of these oneshots or ideas on my other oneshots book that's on Ao3, by the same name, by Kalizzit.

Jupiter looked down at his hands and shrugged, "I think he's embarrassed. People tend not to like Witnesses - it's hard to be friends with someone who can see all your secrets." Perhaps embarrassed isn't quite the right word to use here. How about scared, or fearful. Of what, you ask? Of judgment. Of pain. Of suffering for something that cannot be helped. My knack has caused so much pain and so much loss; sometimes, I wish I didn't have it.

The Christmas party at the Hotel Deucalion didn't go according to plan.

"I still can't believe that's an actual class. I mean, Cooking with Death? Dramatic much?" Morrigan scoffed. "Yeah yeah, I get it. You're jealous." Just post-hollowpox fluff.

Did I finish 2021's prompts? No. Did I finish last year's prompts? Also no - I wrote three stories and gave up without posting any of them. This year, however, I am determined for things to be different.

She and Jack had never discussed it, but Jupiter told her that it had taken him years and years of training as a Witness to 'make sense of the madness', as he called it - to learn to understand the layers and threads, to sift out the important things and ignore the rest - and that Jack wasn't quite there yet. He'd said that for now, Jack's eyepatch acted as a sort of filter, disrupting his vision so that he didn't have to see all those things, all the time. So that his strange talent wouldn't drive him to insanity. Just how many years would that take? How many years of putting up with a knack that could lead me to insanity? How many years of carrying this burden on my own? Well, as the world would have it, not very many years at all.

The Febuwhump 2022 prompts, but with nevermoor characters! There will be some aus, and some hollowpox spoilers. I will post these as I write them. Not daily. And please, please be wary of the prompts! I'll do my best to put tws but still!! (I do not own Nevermoor)
