their paths have crossed many times but they never noticed. pilots in separate squads, brought together by a shortage of skilled pilots. dunkirk. that was their stop. she was following in her father's footsteps of becoming a pilot. she traded her high end life in london for a life at high altitude, being the housewife stereotype is something she isn't about to let get in her way of becoming a professional pilot. the second world war bought her may opportunities to showcase her flying skills and although it may be a bit different from the first one, the planes fly the same way. he is from a little scottish harbour village called mallaig. he's the only one from the village to get involved with the war, everyone called him crazy and said that this isn't his war. planes were never his thing but neither were the trenches. he grew up around the ocean so the navy would've been the best option but something about being 5,000 feet in the sky intrigued him and lured him in. after running away from the safety of the trenches he took off on his adventure in the sky only to find that there's a lot more to remember when being a pilot. :) j.c. :) e.g.

La familia de jack es todo sobre las apariencias y la tradicion, el hecho de que el segundo de sus tres hijos decidiera seguir otro camino ya era una desgracia, pero el que fuera un ingeniero desempleado no dejaba otra opcion que alejarlo. Jack? No dejo que eso lo hundiera, le dolió, pero no dejo que le afectara y al estar sin trabajo por un tiempo decidió tomar su experiencia manejando tantos autos de lujos y sacar dinero de ello. La familia de Emma llego a un punto económico en el que podían costear un chofer. Jack encontró una empresa que lo acepto por su experiencia. Ambos provienen de vidas parecidas, pero totalmente diferentes. Emma tiene rincones oscuros en el exterior y Jack es el optimismo andante. Emma podría ser feliz si ella misma se lo permitiera y Jack podría ser quien la ayude .

My name is Bailey Middleton. My father, Benjamin Middleton, had been called into battle. He was to stand by Commander Bolton and help get men off of Dunkirk beach. He was an officer. My mother, Bridget Middleton, was a nurse. Before she was called into battle, she taught me everything she knew. I knew medicine was my passion and I was glad to have a teacher like her. Unfortunately, she died only two weeks ago. Her death left my father and I devastated. So, when my father was called to Dunkirk, I of course went along with him. Although he was pleading with me to stay home in Dover, England, I knew I belonged out in battle, continuing the role that my mother had sadly left.
