Mark is the misunderstood prince of Strixibin. Jack is an enslaved farrier's apprentice. Tyler is tired working under a blacksmith. Ethan is a stable boy with secrets. Strixibin has been at war with Estercrest for five years now. The population has dwindled down to about half of what it was prior. Prince Mark, looking for an escape, finds one in a forbidden place no one else would go; the woods rumored that mythical beasts and creatures resided in. When four unlikely friends find each other in the same situation, they have no choice but to work together- and maybe, just maybe, they'll find love.
