Katherine, a reporter for the New York Sun, finds the story that will bring her out of the entertainment pages and onto the front page: the newsies strike. But, in the process of bringing these boys to center stage, she drags her best friends, Elizabeth and Rebecca, into the middle of the mess. As the strike progresses, the women find themselves in the center of big changes, both in the world around them and in their personal lives. Will they help to make the strike succeed and change their world? Or will they inadvertently ruin the strike's chance of making a difference? And what will happen once it's all over?

This is my version of what will happen to Jack, Katherine, and the Newsies after the paper strike. Mainly JackxKatherine!

I do not own any characters from either Wonder Woman or Newsies. All I own is the OCs and the plot that I have created. I also do not own the New York World and the other pictures on the cover art. This is a story that takes place in World War I, so not everything is going to be super happy in this story all the time. This is the story of a supernaturally strong woman, a spy who doubles as a reporter, a war pilot who is also a spy, a young man who is just beginning his spy days, and a band of brothers who fight off the gruesomeness of the war. Romance ensues, battles are fought and the mystery to find the villain behind the war drives the characters toward their various missions. A woman who comes from an island with many like her is what spins everything into motion. From the streets of New York to the battle fields of Europe, this group struggles to overcome their differences and tries to win the war as a team. Will they do it?

Katherine was just your average Hufflepuff: Kind, Loyal, and smart (not Ravenclaw smart, but pretty close). She had an average education at Hogwarts, until her sixth year. House Prefects, Professors, and even the Head Mistress herself fall gravely ill and are close to dying. Katherine Nd her friends are determined to find the mastermind behind this ploy, but can Katherine do it while dealing with a new Charismatic pain in her ass?
