Mark has been acting strange, according to Matt and Ryan they haven't seen or heard from Mark in weeks, he hasn't uploaded a video for 6 weeks, and anytime they call it goes straight to voicemail, they tried going to see him but he wouldn't let them into the house. Just opened the door and told them to leave. Jack has heard all the stories and is scared for Mark, Jack doesn't know what's wrong with Mark but he wants to help as much as he can. So he flys out to LA to help out and see if he's okay. But Mark is not okay at all.

Jack had just flew in to California to go to PAX. So Jack visits Mark's house. After an awkward hour, Mark suggests truth or dare... Jack adds on to the challenge by livestreaming it. Will they take risky dares? Or be giant truth pussies? Who knows? Only this book will tell...!

Once there, he meets his new roommate, Sean Mcloughlin, he's a little unsure of him but soon discovers he's in the same predicament as him. Once the two discover each other's musical talents, they form a band in the hopes of rediscovering themselves as well as what's been missing in their lives. For their stage/band names and YouTube music channel, they take up their youtube celebrity names, Markiplier and Jacksepticeye. Published December 28th 2017 and completed February 4th 2018.
