You were nearly killed by creepy killer toys, but your sibling.... You became traumatized and began to live in fear for the rest of your life, but what happens when you meet the cause of your distress?

Y/N was an orphan, losing her parents to a car wreck at a young age, who bounced from one foster home to another. She never stayed in one place, never feeling like she belonged anywhere. She felt empty. Like something was missing. But one Halloween night, kept inside by her foster parents, Y/N sneaks out of the house to take a walk and falls into the spooky land of Halloween Town. Full of monsters and creepy beings including a certain Pumpkin King called Jack. Jack Skellington x Reader I DO NOT OWN THE NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS, ITS CHARACTERS, OR PLOT. (The Sequel to the ending: *Stay in Halloween Town.*) In this continuation of the Jack Skellington x Child!Reader, (Y/n) has been happily living in her newfound home, Halloween Town, alongside her guardian, the Pumpkin King, also known as Jack Skellington. She'd been given one opportunity to return home and become human again on Christmas Eve years ago, but she refused to leave, causing the zombie-like changes to her body to become permanent. She's never aged a day since then, meaning she would never appear older than 12, not that she minded, to be by Jack's side for the rest of her existence made that sacrifice more than worth it. ------------- (*I do not own -anything-, I'm just adding a reader-insert character into the storyline and changing things up for fun and the entertainment of my readers. Greetings! Once again another one of my XChild!Readers. The Nightmare before Christmas has always been one of my childhood favorites, and my favorite character was (and still is) the charming, humerous, and one of a kind Jack Skellington. I hope you The Nightmare Before Christmas fans like the book! (Also, I hope you don't mind, but Sally will not be in the story, it will be the reader taking her place in a way, you'll see as you read.) Y/N L/N, the first in line to Valentines Town as her dad is cupid, and he is the leader. She's always been happy go-lucky. (She got along with the leader of Saint Patrick's day very well) Of course everyone in Valentine's Town was human, more or less....they just had powers...but were still very much alive. She wants to make sure everyone's needs are met before hers and that's where her problem comes in...well you'll figure it out if you read the story. All the Holidays knew about the Christmas incident that Jack had caused. Y/N thought he had good intentions, just the wrong idea...although she never met him.
