a 'Xiaolin Showdown' AU in which a girl and a boy are thrust into a dangerous and insanely lethal adventure of a sick little game crafted from the minds of two unknown enemies who have her father and his youngest sister. Kimiko 'Tomye' is just having a normal morning in hers and her roommate, Jermaine Rhynch's, apartment when she suddenly sees an envelope at her doorstep from a mysterious sender. it entails information about the sender, whoever they were, having her father as their hostage. she is also told to find one Mr. Raimundo Pedrosa, whom she finds and meets in a neighborhood known to all New York residents as the slums. needless to say, she's pretty hesitant to trust him. actually, the two of them are both really hesitant to trust one another, even after she tells him that whoever has her father also has his youngest sister. turns out he's a former Interpol agent who resigned from the force out of guilt of what he'd done to his best friend on the force, and her real last name is not 'Tomye', but 'Tohomiko', and she's the daughter of (one of) the richest CEOs from the entire continent of Asia as well as the heir to the company. they still need to find a way to save Kimiko's father and Raimundo's youngest sister. only problem with their need to save their loved ones is that they can't seem to trust one another enough to team up, what with all the secrets that the two of them both keep from one another. will they find a way to trust one another in the long run of the dangerous game with which they're being forced by their unknown enemy to play along? how would their friends react to their joint situation should they find out about it? and most importantly of all, just who is the unknown enemy holding Kimiko's father and Raimundo's kid sister for ransom?

Raimundo's transition to leadership isn't as easy as he makes it appear. Working together, the group tries to advance to the next level, but could the past be distracting them from the present? i was a calm easy going person who was difficult to piss off. i just moved to this city where my grandpa owned a scrap yard with my drunkard of a mom and crack-head of a dad from England. my dad was running from the cops and bought a small apartment saying that were gonna start over new. i thought otherwise since any and every school i ever went to i got picked on and bullied because of how i looked and home wasn't any better since they make me clean and cook for them like I'm their slave instead of their daughter. why would this be any different? and the fact that i have an abnormal ability to use electricity to my will doesn't help. At all. especially when i end up making a shock wave of electricity just because i lost my temper. i wish there was someone who understood what it was like, someone to talk to.

"My apologies Master Fung. I'm Rajah M. Bijou and if you have time, I'd like to have a word with you about your students."

Jack is pushed to his limit. He's slipped far past depression and into a state of nothingness. With no one by his side and his only idol seeing him as nothing but a worthless stain, what is truly left to keep him here.

Rajah has to delicately explain to jack that his idol, the one person he adores most, doesn't care about him. ----- "Jackie..just how many times do you plan on gettin yourself hurt like this before realizin what's really goin here?" The naive and flighty proclaimed boy genius, Jack Spicer, was once more trying desperately to plan some large, convoluted scheme in order to show Chase Young that he was, in fact, worthy of being his apprentice. It was the type of plan that made you want to shake your head in, not in disappointments, but..pity. Rajah could not for the life of her understand how Jack could continue to let himself be humiliated, ridiculed and just plain abused by a malicious, and quite frank, narcissistic character like Chase.
