Looking back, it was the thirteenth of December 1945 when everything began to fall apart. Margaret Carter blew into the office like the flurry that swirled outside, shaking snow out of her dark curls. Peggy's arrival at the SSR upsets the tenuous balance of Jack and Daniel's non-relationship.

She never thought she'd be truly seen ever again, until one case, two alternate jobs, three coworkers, and a few crazy events changed everything.

In 1940, Bucky Barnes is drafted to fight in Europe. He leaves behind his family and his girlfriend, Connie. Instead of sitting and waiting for the war to end, Connie decides to do something. She gets hired at the New York Bell Company as a switchboard operator and SSR agent.

If Marvel won't write Agent Carter season 3, I will. Jack Thompson has been shot and wrote Peggy's name with his blood on the floor. The LAPD and SSR are now investigating her very closely. She's not allowed to do anything related to her work, which makes it difficult for her to track Dottie Underwood down. Suddenly, the people Peggy cares about most get attacked. As she tries to find the person behind it, she discovers secrets that never should've been found...

When Peggy was in the 107th, she met none other than Bucky Barnes' little sister. Alice Barnes declared them friends immediately. Alice is a pretty kick-ass dame, you wont catch her bragging though. While she is an amazing fighter, after the war she decided not to continue with things like Peggy did with the SSR. Instead she opened a bookstore like she had dreamed of doing since she was little. Somehow she also has connections everywhere. One day Peggy walked into the store looking just about ready to pop someone in the head. After talking for a bit Peggy decided to bring Alice to the office to see if she could use her connections to help. That's how Alice ended up on a mission to investigate Leviathan.

Peggy had known, from the first day, it would be difficult. From the first time she'd walked into the LA office, newly transferred from New York, she'd felt the looks sent her way. But she was used to all of this. Surely she had gone through worse before, with her relationships with Steve and Howard openly speculated upon in New York. She had handled all of that. She could handle this too. Peggy transfers to the new SSR office in LA to be closer to Daniel but finds the transition more difficult than she expected.
