Its been 4 miserable years since the incident years since 10 year old Ralph Foley escaped the grasp of the raging fire and those savage huntere. Ralph is now 13 going on 14, and reunites with the exact people he wanted to escape.

Jack Merridew was a miserable boy, his world slowly starting to slip away from the grasp of his own hands. As an insomniac and destined high school dropout living a pretty much completely uneventful life, nothing was ever colorful in his eyes. His life stays motionless until one day, he sees pools of jaded green and slowly a mirage of vibrant colors flooding into his life. This is a oneshot for a few friends who also read the Lord of the Flies book. Characters and plot belong to William Golding. Don't ask me why there even is fanfiction out there about this, the only reason I could have would be because shipping.

It's Jack x Ralph from lord of the Flies expressing the love I feel like they made of had in the book, but none of my other friends seemed to notice.

Ralph and Jack are on top of fire mountain, at first all Ralph can do is complain and nag about the signal fire being neglected. But Jack has some unrequited love to take care of, how will it end?

My take on what happened to Jack and Ralph after they were rescued in Lord of the Flies. Jack finally admits to his guilt over the insanity he wreaked on the island -and his feelings for Ralph- but what will it take for him to earn Ralph's approval again? *I do not own or claim to own Lord of the Flies or any of the characters used or mentioned*

Everyone is now safe home and the events on the island are forgotten. But Jack struggles with regaining self-control. Ralph blames himself for everything that happened in the past and has to find a way to forget it.

Credit to the lovely lady Ella for giving me the idea for the title~. Lord of the Flies, Ralph x Jack. It's been around 5 years, so the boys are around 18--19. They were never rescued from the island, and instead of them trying to murder Ralph they just take him captive. I don't own the characters, nor do I own the original book. Also I don't own the pictures used for the cover and chapter. I don't know if there will be a second chapter, for now though it's just one. Also, fair warning it's probably pretty shitty.
