Everyone is now safe home and the events on the island are forgotten. But Jack struggles with regaining self-control. Ralph blames himself for everything that happened in the past and has to find a way to forget it.

Jack Merridew was a miserable boy, his world slowly starting to slip away from the grasp of his own hands. As an insomniac and destined high school dropout living a pretty much completely uneventful life, nothing was ever colorful in his eyes. His life stays motionless until one day, he sees pools of jaded green and slowly a mirage of vibrant colors flooding into his life. Takes place right after the ending of the book, as everyone gets escorted to the ship. it turns out they have to spend some more time together as it's unsafe to go back, but enemy forces have also seen the smoke and have been drawn to the ship. Now what? Dunno if anyone's actually gonna read this. If not it's okay, I just need self satisfaction due to the fact that the ending is sad... also this will be Jalph but it's a looooonnngggg process of their relationship to go back to at least normal. >:)

Its been 4 miserable years since the incident years since 10 year old Ralph Foley escaped the grasp of the raging fire and those savage huntere. Ralph is now 13 going on 14, and reunites with the exact people he wanted to escape.

(Psst this is set a bit more in the future, like 70s or 80s because I don't want to make them sound too fancy.) This takes place when they are around 16, Jack had returned back to "normal life", and there's a new student. It's Ralph, despite protest, they are stuck together. They try to avoid each other, but they just can't stay away, it's as if it's fate.

It's Jack x Ralph from lord of the Flies expressing the love I feel like they made of had in the book, but none of my other friends seemed to notice.

This takes places after all the boys from the Lord of the Flies get rescued from the island.

My take on what happened to Jack and Ralph after they were rescued in Lord of the Flies. Jack finally admits to his guilt over the insanity he wreaked on the island -and his feelings for Ralph- but what will it take for him to earn Ralph's approval again? *I do not own or claim to own Lord of the Flies or any of the characters used or mentioned*
