The year is 1868 and the Templar domain in London is as strong as it's ever been. The Order has held its power over the city for hundreds of years, but the new age of the Industrial Revolution brings on inevitable change to the economy. Returning to London after many years, Lily Harvard comes to a harsh realization that the city had taken a turn for the worst. Overturning power would be nothing less than a war, but her goal had been simple. Take back control from the Templars. However, in the midst of her mission comes unexpected challenges for the young assassin. Newly formed alliances, painful recollections of her past, and a reckless man by the name of Jacob Frye. Being a maid was quite hard, but what about being an assassin's maid? Well it's a lot more difficult. You used to work in a simple merchant's home who had food to spare and too many rooms to count, but now your stuck with the Frye twins. Jacob being as drastic as he is buys you from your old home to live with him on his train. And yes, you are HIS maid. Master Frye as you call him makes it as challenging as he can for you to do your job, while your are his distraction from focusing on anything he does. When two girls fresh out of college accept an internship at Abstergo Industries, it seems too good to be true! After spending some time with Abstergo, things quickly go sour as one of their employees gets killed during play testing. When the girls demand answers and threaten to expose the incident to the world, Abstergo doesn't take their words lightly. Shannon and Jaqueline are kidnapped by Abstergo who reveal themselves as the Knights Templars and the girls are thrown into the secret war of the Assassin's and Templars. It's up to them to escape from their captures and seek help from the Brotherhood to take Abstergo down.

Almost a year has past since the events of Assassin's Creed: Syndicate and the Frye twins took back London from the Templars, but the work of the Assassins is never over. Jacob Frye has been unusually hard working lately and his sister Evie persuades him to attend the Theatre, where he crosses paths with a talented beauty who is far more than she appears.
